Who we are

Fluxpoint is a customer relationship management (CRM) service operated by Fluxly. This policy explains what information we handle when you use Fluxpoint or visit this website, and how we look after it.

Your company's data belongs to your company

Fluxpoint is set up for each client company individually. The customers, leads, pipelines, documents, tasks and other records your team enters are your company's data. We store and process them only to provide the service to your company, and they are kept separate from every other company's data.

Your company's administrators decide who on your team can see what. If you're a team member, your administrator — not Fluxly — controls access to your company's records.

Information we collect

  • Account details for each person on your team: name, email address, role, and a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and a Google account identifier.
  • Records your team enters into Fluxpoint, which may include personal information about your own customers and contacts.
  • Usage and security information, such as sign-in times, IP address and browser type, and a log of changes made to records, used to keep accounts secure and show activity history.
  • Demo requests submitted on this website: your name, email, company, team size, optional phone number and message.

How we use it

  • To provide, maintain and secure the service for your company.
  • To set up your company's account and help your team when you ask for support.
  • To respond to demo requests and other messages you send us.

We do not sell personal information, and we don't use your company's records for advertising.

Support access

If you ask for help, Fluxly staff may view your company's account to resolve the issue. Every support visit is time-limited and recorded in your company's activity history, so your administrators can see when it happened.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run Fluxpoint, each acting only on our instructions: cloud hosting (Vercel), a managed database (Neon), and Google for optional “Continue with Google” sign-in. Your information may be stored or processed outside your province or country by these providers.

Retention and deletion

We keep your company's data for as long as your company uses Fluxpoint. When your company stops using the service, contact us and we'll delete its data, except where we must keep something to meet legal obligations.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access within each company is controlled by roles and permissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell affected clients promptly if a breach affects their data.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. If you're a member of a client company, some requests may be best handled by your company's administrator. If you're in Canada, this processing is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); you can contact us first, or raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let client administrators know directly.
